I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology at the University of Cincinnati. I moved to San Francisco and started working at UCSF in the Transplant Lab. I managed Dr. Tippi Mackenzie’s lab for a few years where I first became interested in flow cytometry. I joined the Parnassus Flow Cytometry Core in 2013 and currently split my time between the Flow Core and the Marson Lab.

In my free time I enjoy backpacking, trail running, and going to old movie theaters.
