I grew up in Melbourne, Australia and completed my PhD studies in Prof. Stephen Turner’s laboratory at the University of Melbourne in 2015. During my graduate studies, I primarily focused on understanding the role of transcription factors and epigenetic mechanisms in modulating the transcription of CD8+ T cell’s effector genes. I’ve recently joined the Marson lab in February 2016 and I’m hoping to spend my postdoc training to further broaden my understanding of the transcriptional regulation of human T cell differentiation.
When experiments go wrong in the lab, I would do some baking to keep me sane!!
